Responsibilities

• Champion the mission and values of GT Church at the Reading location
• Facilitate weekend services, providing a live greeting, announcements and prayer and through live streaming of GT services from West Lawn
• Collaborate with central staff to replicate special services and church wide events
• Establish a community presence through multiple events and/or outreach specific to GT Reading
• Lead, develop and appreciate GT campus staff and volunteers
• Coordinate with GT central staff to recruit, lead and develop volunteer leaders across GT departments
• Provide general pastoral appointments and counsel
• Provide pre-marital counseling and wedding services upon request
• Officiate funeral services upon request
• Provide pastoral support to all GT adult baptism services & classes
• Participate and/or teach in Growing Together and other classes as requested
• Coordinate and collaborate with the benevolence team to process requests

Qualifications

• Dynamic and experienced team-builder who is passionate about recruiting and training volunteer leaders
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• A clear calling into full time ministry with a passion for adult ministry
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Solid work ethic and ability to self-motivate, effectively prioritize, and multi-task
• Team-player with the ability to create systems/standard operating procedures
• Church credential holder or seeking credentialing
• Believes, supports, and teaches the 16 Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is strongly preferred
• Past experience in adult coaching ministries or leadership is a plus
